Futuress was featured in the exhibition, reading room, and public program “Voltolo—all-around education in contemporary graphic design practices.” Curated by designer Alexandru Balgiu, the show was held at Ravisius Textor from February 10-25, 2024. Voltolo presented collaborative, circular, and experimental educational adventures in contemporary graphic design. Self-organized and collective, operating outside or inside institutions, from physical embodied locations or broadcasting from a dematerialized platform—the presented projects all aimed to transform and reinvent their contexts to directly accommodate educational needs. They offered tools for learning and emancipating, while demonstrating graphic design as an open practice of research and transmission of information and poetry.
